He is not sleeping

Its the new year. We are just back from a friend's place. We shared some secrets, we drank some tea and we ate.

But idris is still not asleep. How do i know? I can hear his cries over closed doors. I hope he will fall asleep soon. His mom is so tired.

Yup. That's him. 10 days short of being two years old.

I really do love him.

Almost 2.

In about a weeks time, this little guy will be almost 2. Cheeky little fellow and full of energy. He outlasted 3 helpers and can out chat anybody!

Very inquisitive, love to dismantle his toys and tries to put them back again. Loves upin and ipin.

This is him. Showing his cheeky side. He is running away from Fitri. Usually he will run up to Fitri when he hears the milk bottle being shaken. Now he runs away and expect Fitri to chase him.

On this occasion, Fitri did not give chase but merely stood by the door. He turned around and then ran back to Fitri, hugging her and quickly grabbing the milk bottle.

Sarah came to our house yesterday. So while I was busy tutoring, they were playing outside using the carton that we were about to throw away. How sweet.

I think this was the first time that we brought iris to T3.
While waiting for Adam to end his madrasah's class we went to T3. Sort of to let Idris spend his energy in the vast open spaces found there. This was taken just as we were about to go home. He loves water. Su had to hold on to him just in case he will fall into the pool.

We were at Changi North Point City Mall. There is a roof garden and although it was smaller than I expect it to be, it was beautiful. The sun was up and although it was not yet 11, I can feel the heat. Well, not this boy. He was up and walking about, even leaving his mother behind. It is a wonderful place to be though. I would want to go there again, maybe in the evening.

At Satay by the bay. This was our 2nd visit. It was windy, just like the first but not as cool. As we take turns to have our dinner, this little guy was enjoying himself as if he has the whole place to himself. We ended up taking turns chasing after him.

Idris, tired

This was taken a few days back, He is such an active boy, that we are having lots, or just me, lots of problem catching up to him. This was taken just outside the main door. He looked tired as he walked round and round in the common corridor. Amazing. I think this was taken before he went to the polyclinic for an injection. Nurses there said that he is overweight. Oh well. He is healthy, thats what matters.

Now, that he is able to walk, he walks to everywhere. Even when there is nobody to accompany him. I took this while I was pitting on my sandals to bring him down. Instead of waiting for me, he promptly took off. I cannot imaging when he can run.

First post of Idris in the new year. I would seriously like to call mumsters. He loves food and is not afraid to try things out. I think his tastebuds has not developed yet, but to see him so excited over food and drinks really remind me of Adam when he was at that age.
If there was one thing that differentiate both of them, is that while Adam eats everything, Idris eats anything...
